A Good Imaging Device
I gave my little cousin my old camcorder so he could film his trip to the national aquarium. He also took a few snapshots and I was surprised to see how well some of the photos turned out, he really has an eye for photography. I forgot how good that thing takes pictures, the thing is if you have a newer model camcorder with high megapixel ratings for the imaging device the quality of your shot will be really good.

Photoshopping Is Fun
Don't be discouraged about using photoshop to perfect or enhance your photography. Photoshop is not a cheat it's a tool. Yes it may take a little time and effort but for a special case photo your photoshopping efforts can leave you with a image that will last you a lifetime.

Did You Go Over Your Checklist?
Be sure to run down your checklist of things needed before you go out to photograph. I can't tell you how many times I was on a site and realized I'd forgotten a lens, some extra camera cards, or even batteries. Also be sure to take additional shots from different angles close up an wide, you never know what types of results or compositions your really looking for until you shoot it.
